PVS-31A Focus Caps

These focus caps provide a wider focal range without the need to adjust the focus settings on your NVG tubes. NVG's have a user set focal distance and outside of that distance the clarity degrades. Set your focal distance to roughly 25yds and with the caps you will still have clarity inside about 10ft. There is a slight decrease in the allowed light into the tube therefore in very low light, supplemental IR lighting may be required.

These caps come with an attachment ring and bungie for affixing to your NVG tube.  Not all NVG tubes are the same diameter so please check your tubes diameter before ordering. I have the ability to create caps for different diameter tubes.

I also have a variant for use with the Ecoti thermal device which removes a small amount of material to line up the device. If you choose the Ecoti option I will include one standard and one Ecoti cap.

These caps have been tested in real world environments by a local swat team, and have been tested with Force on Force brand simunition marking rounds. While this is not a protective cap for simunition training, this design held up to 5 rifle simunition rounds at 10ft without breaking and 4 pistol simunition rounds before breaking. Use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any damage to your NVG's from misuse of this product.

The caps are 3D printed in PETG-CF which is UV resistant and provides good durability. The attachment pieces are 3D printed in TPU a flexible filament.
